Because the Const...Simple answer to your question:<br /><br />Because the Constitution's First Amendment says so with the whole "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" thing.<br /><br />Atheists, like myself, have no problem with religious expression and art. Never have. It's the state sponsored indoctrination of that stuff that chaps our hide. Why socialize kids with the "under God" in a pledge? Why have the god reference again on money?
